Signed by Prada's in-house perfumer Daniela Andrier, Paradoxe is built around the concept of paradox itself: every element in the composition presents two opposing faces simultaneously. The tangerine, bergamot and pear opening is bright and contemporary, almost unexpected for a Prada floral.
The heart is where the paradox becomes most tangible. Tunisian orange flower heart absolute blossom is used alongside neroli bud essence, giving the floral core both the raw, green freshness of just-bloomed petals and the full, honeyed depth of mature flowers.
Jasmine sambac absolute adds warmth and weight to the florals. The base — Ambrofix, Laos benzoin, Madagascar premium bourbon vanilla and Serenolide — creates a creamy, skin-close finish that is simultaneously musky, sweet and slightly woody.
As a wholesale perfume, Paradoxe appeals strongly to a broad millennial and gen-Z female audience. The signature bubble-shaped bottle is a retail conversation starter and a strong gifting choice.
