Description
When Paco Rabanne launched 1 Million in 2008, it redefined what a successful mass-luxury masculine fragrance could smell like. The original EDT by Olivier Polge combined grapefruit, blood orange, mint, and rose with a spiced amber base that was both instantly accessible and surprisingly lasting.
The EDP version, also by Olivier Polge and launched in 2012, deepens every element of the original. The citrus opening remains but shortens considerably — the heart emerges faster and with greater force: cinnamon bark, Bulgarian rose absolute, and a richer cocoa accord form the spiced-floral-sweet core that made this line iconic. The amber-leather dry-down is bolder and warmer than in the EDT.
Performance is a key selling point: the 1 Million EDP consistently delivers 10 to 12 hours of projection on most skin types, making it far more suitable for evening and formal occasions than its EDT counterpart. The signature gold ingot bottle maintains outstanding shelf presence.
For wholesale perfume distributors, 1 Million EDP needs no introduction. It reliably outperforms across gift season, Valentine's Day, and year-round gifting, making it a volume anchor for any fragrance department.
