Launched in 2022, H24 EDP is the more sustained, deeper version of the original H24. Christine Nagel structured the fragrance around Sclarene, a Givaudan-exclusive molecule she describes as evoking the smell of hot irons on damp wool in Hermès's Parisian sewing workshops.
Oakmoss and clary sage in the opening establish a herbal, slightly metallic tone. Narcissus adds a delicate floral nuance; rosewood and cedar bring light woody structure. Together with Sclarene's machine-like ozonic warmth, the combination creates a profile that is difficult to categorise and difficult to replicate.
H24 EDP is deliberately linear — a consistent skin scent that evolves slowly rather than dramatically. This intentional restraint is its character, not its limitation. Performance is notably strong for a Hermès EDP, with longevity well beyond six hours and consistent moderate projection.
