Dolce & Gabbana K Eau de Parfum, co-created by Daphné Bugey and Nathalie Lorson, translates the brand's Sicilian DNA into olfactory form. Where the original EDT was crisp and linear, the EDP version adds depth and warmth, making it a more compelling proposition across seasons.
The opening is immediately generous: blood orange with its characteristic bittersweet red-citrus quality, pressed Sicilian lemon with brightness and acidity, and juniper berries bringing a gin-like, slightly resinous edge. It's a Mediterranean medley that recalls the rocky coastline north of Palermo.
Pimento essence, clary sage, geranium, and lavandin form the aromatic heart — a sophisticated herbal-floral register that keeps the fragrance from feeling too sweet or linear. This is where D&G's Italian heritage in fine craftsmanship manifests most clearly.
The base of cedarwood, vetiver, and patchouli is dry, grounding, and masculine without being overbearing. Vetiver's earthy, slightly smoky quality balances the cedar's woodsy sharpness. Excellent projection through both day and evening wear across all but the warmest summer months.
