Nishane was founded in Istanbul in 2012 by Mert Güzel and Barbaros Şansal, positioning itself as Turkey's answer to the international niche perfumery movement. The brand's signature approach blends Ottoman fragrance traditions with contemporary artistic expression, and the Dubai Oud reflects this philosophy with particular clarity.
Dubai Oud draws its identity from the reverence for agarwood — Hindi oud, Cambodian oud, Laotian oud — that defines Gulf fragrance culture. The composition opens with a cloud of resinous smoke and spice that signals depth and intention. The heart develops leather and dry woody materials that give the oud a frame without masking its essential character. The base is a long, warm, resinous trail characteristic of high-quality agarwood blends.
The 50ml tester bottle contains the identical formula as the retail version, presented without a box or with a test cap. Longevity reaches eight to twelve hours on skin with impressive projection.
