Description
Patchouli Magnetik arrived in 2022 and Quentin Bisch ran a current through classic patchouli on this one. The lift is not abrupt — damp white peach and the milky bloom of gardenia soften the opening before patchouli steps forward.
In the heart Australian sandalwood powders the patchouli into a milky frame, and a gardenia accord throws light across the surface. The base lays down Laos benzoin and Madagascar vanilla with a thin leather accent — half sweet, half earth, never heavy-handed sugar. The earthy face of patchouli stays intact; a magnetic shimmer is placed on top.
On skin it runs six to eight comfortable hours with a close, intimate sillage. Written unisex, it keeps its balance on men and women alike. Spring and autumn transition weather and daytime wear are its natural ground; it does not overshoot at night either.
On a wholesale perfume shelf, Patchouli Magnetik is the milky-woody patchouli alternative niche buyers actually reach for. Perfumer: Quentin Bisch.
