The pear opening is the familiar welcome — fresh, sweet, and immediately likeable. But where the original La Belle pivots to leather and musk, the Intense heads toward tonka bean and jasmine, a combination that adds genuine warmth and floral richness to the composition. The jasmine in particular is beautifully handled: floral enough to add dimension, restrained enough not to overwhelm.
Vanilla dominates the base — deeper and more pronounced than the original, lending the Intense its defining warmth and the kind of long-lasting skin presence that customers remember and seek out again.
